Yes, Gwen looks like his mother. I guess the problem is in that bureauctratic rule: Put 5% indian actors, 5% turkish actors, 5% chinese actors........ to every movie / tv series.

I am not racist, i have no problem with immigrants but imagine movie about vikings played by vietnamese actors....or ancient samurai movie played by an afroamericans and europeans ... just bureaucrates and their graphs and tables.... this is big BS

I simply hate this idiocy....there were no immigrants in medieval Sweden, Britain, France etc.....or just very rarely!!!!

I seriously hope that Merlin season 2 finds its way to the US somehow. I don't care if its on iTunes or on youtube, I am going to be seriously upset if it doesn't. That show is the 2nd best thing in my life, and it makes me beyond happy to watch it. Bradley James and Colin Morgan are amazing actors. Colin Morgan can do an amazing fake accent, it sounds so real, I could barely believe it when I found out he was from Northern Ireland.

I love this show!!! I can't wait to watch the next season! I would just like to thank the cast and producers for this show. It puts a smile on my face every time I see it. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I am praying for you guys, that God will keep you safe as you film the show, and that he will make you all prosper.

I liked Mists of Avalon - book and miniseries too.

Another version is Igraine was married to another man and already had a daughter, Morgana. Uther wanted her though and had Igraine's husband killed so that he could marry her with Arthur being the result. Arthur was taken as a baby by Merlin to be raised elsewhere and after Uther's death the kingdom fell into chaos.

When Arthur, with Merlin's help, becomes King later in life and restores peace to the land, Morgana who wants revenge for her father's death seeks him out and beguils him into laying with her. Mordred is the result. Many years later Arthur faces Mordred in battle and they both recieve mortal wounds.

Lancelot legend tells was raised by the Lady of the Lake, Nimeuh, who incidentally gives Merlin Excalibur to help Arthur when he seeks her out. After Arthur recieves the mortal wound Merlin sends him to Avalon and returns Excalibur to Nimeuh.

Legend says that when Britain's need is direst Arthur will rise from Avalon, restore peace and once again will rule.
