Star Wars Episode 7

George Lucas about Star Wars episode 7, 8, 9.

George Lucas: You're going to be greatly disappointed in the next trilogy. Revenge of the Sith is the darkest of the Star Wars films because it represents the destruction of the Jedi and the Old Republic. In contrast, Episode 7, 8 and 9 are bright and happy films. No darkness at all in the new trilogy. I plan to introduce many characters similar to the Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks to further brighten the demeanor of the films. After all, the primary target group for Star Wars is children.

I want children to be able to greatly enjoy the final trilogy that will be made in my lifetime. Some children probably didn't enjoy Revenge of the Sith as much as the previous Star Wars films. Without doubt, the children are going to love Episode 7. Were going to have singing and a lot of hugging and sharing of love in Episode 7. Everybody is celebrating the rebirth of the New Jedi Order and the New Republic. I want to reflect this happiness on film by having scenes that show how elated everyone is in the films. You can expect to see several dancing and singing scenes at the beginning, middle and end of Episode 7.

Star Wars Episode Seven Spoilers

Star Wars Episode 7: The Fallen Hero

Star Wars Episode 7 spoilers:

Decades have passed since the Battle of Endor (Return of the Jedi), where both the Emperor and Vader met their doom. During the decades since Endor, the remnants of the Empire have been defeated and the New Republic formed out of the ashes of the Empire. However, enemies against the New Republic still exist. A rogue group of Dark Jedi have emerged that threaten the fragile stability that the New Republic enjoys.

The Cloud City of Bespin has been converted into one of the many Jedi training facilities located all throughout the galaxy. The Jedi's numbers are beginning to grow to Old Republic heights. The New Jedi Order consists of about 7,000 Jedi Knights. Bespin is now the home to both Jedi Masters, Knights and Apprentices.

During routine Jedi training on Bespin, the Dark Jedi invade wearing jet packs, which send them like a swarm dropping into the upper reaches of the cloud city. These Dark Jedi are seeking to re-establish the legacy of Darth Vader and, hence, they wear a more-advanced-looking version of Darth Vader's mask, helmet and body armor in honor of their fallen hero.

As the Dark Jedi attack Bespin, their sleek battle satellites swarm the floating city and rain down turbolaser fire on the city. The Jedi are taken by complete surprise. However, the Dark Jedi seek not to conquer Bespin, but to capture some of the Jedi's prized holocrons, which hold vast quantities of information about the ancient ways and customs of the Jedi. As hundreds of light-saber battles erupt between the Jedi and their Dark Jedi counterparts, some of the Dark Jedi use concussion grenades to cause damage to Bespin's superstructure.

A few of the holocrons are captured by the Dark Jedi. With their mission now complete, the Dark Jedi retreat from Cloud City and fly away from the city using their jet packs which they wear on their backs. The Dark Jedi fly into the nearby clouds and disappear. The roar of engines can be heard as the Dark Jedi escape in their customized Tie Rager star ships, which were hidden in the clouds above Cloud City.

The 12 members of the Jedi Council are present in the Jedi Council chamber in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Several Jedi, who survived the battle of Bespin against the Dark Jedi, relate to Luke Skywalker (the head of the Jedi Council) that several Jedi holocrons were taken during the battle. Luke informs the Jedi Council that the Jedi will have to find these lost holocrons and bring the Dark Jedi under control.

Does anyone honestly think this is George Lucas' announcement?! Sounds to me as though as someone whoever this "Supershadow" is bullshittin' everyone to get a whole bunch of fan' hopes up. I've read the article and from what I can tell, that isn't how he works, yes I understand everyone is glad to have their freedom and so on and so forth... but hugging and dancing for little kids to get the picture everyone is happy? Sorry If I dont buy into this even if it is true, I've been a fan my whole life and honestly if whoever wrote that article is right, and it does turn out everyone is tickle-me elmo lovey dovey super creepy happy, there would probably be one less star wars fan... plain and simple. Cause honestly, jar jar was wierdo pedofile enough for me.

im sorry that star wars has changed so much. i wish we could just go back to the original idea, where the story was about anakin's life, his struggle with the dark side and his choices. yeah its great to celebrate the coming of a new order in the galaxy, but we are losing it. yeah episode 3 was kinda over the top, but we dont have to go all soft just because of that. the empire still has remnants that need to be brought to justice. the war is not over yet. the republic is in its infant days and needs to fight for its freedom.

from what Lucas said back there,i think it most likely a fake, G.Lucas is one of the most famous directors in the past till now,so he'd said that much wiser way,not this kind of crappy talking, beside, it's not like him to make such happy episodes for the next trilogy like that,so SuperShadow just might be a cheap joke...

I think vader reworte destiny when he threw sidious of the belcany. The fallen hero to them is accually a villain to the dark jedi. I think there should be a dark padwon and master for it to work. Or i will have to buy a call of duty adopation. From what i read there should have better character then what i read on the spoiler. Embrace the Universe better.

This is exactly why the world is in such a poor state right now. Instead of watching Star Wars and posting comments on stupid bulletin boards, you should be trying to make something of your pathetic lives. Also, do you really think your mother doesn't mind that you're still living in her basement. And Star Wars sucks.

I've read this same story on several sites. No idea if it is true, but Lucas seems to embrace Zahn's trilogy because Mara Jade is supposed to be in it, via rumor.

But at least from rumors this story would take place like 10 to 20 years down the road after the Thrawn Campaign. That is if any of this is even true.

OK first of all Star Wars episode 7 8 and 9 have to be about the creation of the new jedi order and the new republic but there has to be Sith involved or it just won't be the same Not many people know this but if you look it up on the web you will find that palpatine returns after his death on the 2nd death star before time he had clones of himself made specifically for him because he never really trusted aniken so if he was ever killed he would know what to do to start his life again as a clone of himself he succeded but he was destroyed along with the rest of his clones!

-2 #319 How episode 7 should beMugsy 2009-12-29 02:36
A musical really :-x that disapoints me  what it should be is. every episode is focused on a skywalker such as anakin in 1,2, and 3 and luke in the others. there for there should be a new skywalker in episode 7 (if there is one) i think the skywalkers in this one should be solo and leia's kids and they should be 2 boys that would risk there lives to save each other. and they jedi should be brought back none of that dark jedi crap. a few sepritists that survived darth vader should secretley found a droid factory on mustafar and started to re-make droids. then the star systems would have to work together to destroy the last sepritisits. and as for the 2 skywalkers (or technically solos) should each fight with there uncle luke to bring the galaxy to peace. like my idea or dont but if this is how episode 7 is made you know who deserveres the credits. 8)

I remember an interview George Lucas did in the 70's about the star wars movies. He said he planed on making 9 movies. Odd, he has denied that interview ever since, even though you can still find video of it. I'm not sure if he will or not, but I'm sure he has an idea about the plots if he ever decides to do 3 more.

Ok, whether or not George Lucas is actually going to do 3 more films is beyond me, however, there ARE story lines for 3 more movies that have been around for a long time. Also, if George left hints in his movies on purpose I don't know either, but there are a lot of them in "Return of the Jedi" leading me to believe that he will do more movies. As for this quote, who knows if he actually said it, but there is always a chance, so don't jump to conclusions that he won't.

George has stated many times that the shadow site has no affiliation to him what-so-ever. I think they are just making up their own stuff to rile up SW fans.

Oh wow are you all being fooled . I hope you all know that GEORGE LUCAS IS NOT MAKING ANY MORE MOVIES and SUPERSHADOW IS NOT A RELIABLE RESOURCE! I know this because supershadow claims to have had an interview with Lucas about the making of ep's 7, 8, and 9, but Lucas has said nothing to anyone else. SUPERSHADOW HAS NO REPUTABILITY. End of story.

But, I also have good news.
I don't know if you all have heard, but there will be a debut of a live-action Star Wars TV series in the next two years. George Lucas has spoke about it in multiple interviews and says they are in the casting stage of the show.

So, instead of buying into this garbage and hoping for three new films which will never happen, you should be excited for the debut of the Live-Action Star Wars TV series. I know I am :D
