We're going to be waiting quite a few months for the next new episode of The Walking Dead.
Shooting for season two has started in May. We'll have to wait a further five months for the show's second season to hit AMC, since Darabont announced that the second season would be premiering in October 2011.
Hopes had been that the premiere of the show would be pushed forward to this autumn to make room for the thirteen-episode order.
Now, it seems, we'll either see a run straight through into early 2012, or we'll see a split season that will have starts in October 2011 and January 2012.
