Stargate Atlantis Movie

Two-hour movie based on the hit science fiction adventure series "Stargate Atlantis." SCI FI will have the exclusive worldwide television premiere of the yet to be titled "Stargate Atlantis" film, which will then be released on DVD by MGM.

The Stargate Atlantis movie will be written by "Stargate Atlantis'" executive producers Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, who also serve as series showrunners. The movie is set to follow the fifth and final season of "Stargate Atlantis."

"Stargate Atlantis" follows the adventures of an intrepid team of military and civilian explorers who travel the distant Pegasus galaxy by means of a Stargate, a portal created long ago by a highly advanced alien civilization called the Ancients. In their never-ending quest to seek out other technologies left behind by the Ancients, the Atlantis team encounters alien cultures some friend, some foe.

I sure do wish they take that crap of a show off the air, like many I watched SGU because i hoped with would surpass SGA but it did not what it did do is ruin what was the best shows going SG-1 and SGA.
They talked about having no money for SGA but yet found money for this crap and now a second season of it NO !
Now no SG-A & SGA movies yet these movies bring in money .
And as for asking for more money if sci-fi did not want to pay others might have I mean the show has been shown nearly all over the world and they are doing re-runs in England on sky 1 & 2.
Make the movies put them straight to dvd worldwide of course and be done with it also take the SGU crap off it does nothing only take from BSG & VOYAGER

I think Todd the Wraith and John are becoming friends and they do have a connection. I hope you do not have anything happening to either one of them. Stargate Atlantis movies would not be the same without them especially John Shepperd. Also I saw on Yutube the extende version of Season 5. I hope John was having a dream and you did not kill him. I saw on Yutube some scenes of EXtinction. I hope they do not have Shepperd die. He is one of the heros. Kill off Col Caldwell but not Shepperd. I also hope you get him together either with Col Carter, Teyla, or the one he met in the Travelers episode. Without Shepperd Atlantis would not be the same.

I hope they do not have John Shepperd die in the Stargate Atlantis movies. He is Stargate Atlantis and I would not be able to watch them if they do. Have him get together either with Teyla or the woman he met in the episode Travelers.

Stargate: Atlantis was the best of the 3 and SYFY cancels it. What are they thinking? I really looked for fridays to get here so I could watch Atlantis and then these people who obviously don't know what they are doing take it off the air and replace it with the worst of all 3 Stargate: Universe witch to me is more like Battlestar Galactica than any Stargates, The only thing that makes it a Stargate is the gate other than that it does NOT live up to the Stargate name. MY SUGGESTION IS: GET RID OF STARGATE: UNIVERSE AND BRING BACK STARGATE: ATLANTIS, I bet you would have sponsrs lined up to to join in.

I want them to bring back Stargate Atlantis. I don't watch SGU. I saw maybe two episodes and never felt the love like i did with SG1 and Atlantis. I always thought it would be cool to have the Wraith secretly help the Goa'uld return to power after so many years, and to have a rogue team steal the time machine Puddle jumper and prevent Anubis from losing his fleet. I think that would be an interesting scenario, and if they do go ahead with the movie, have that be platform that relaunches the show. If they like I could write them a screenplay for a new season and send it to them in the mail.

When I found out Stargate Atlantis was cancelled I was never so disappointed in my life, I loved SG-1 but Atlantis was much better, I despise SGU, I watched one episode, that was enough for me, it is pathetic, I cannot believe Atlantis was replaced by that garbage, sorry it is how I feel, I hope and pray you do at least give it it's due respect and finish it like you did SG-1, it deserves that much at least, I loved the characters ans was so happt when Carson came back, I have always found it is a fatal error to start killing off beloved characters, please finish it at least.

SGU is very disappointing. Nothing compared to the fun and excitement of the previous SG-1 and SGA. To make it worse, there is no more news of the SGA movie.

yo pienso igual... SGA fue mucho mejor serio que SG1... las dos muy uenas, pero atlantis es atlantis y no me gusto que solo tuviera 5 temporadas.... de perdis nuas 8... y para ser muy honesto, los cuatro episodios de SGU no me han gustado, se me han hecho muy aburridos y rutinarios... pero si estoy esperando con ansia la pelicula de atlantis...... espero sea igual de buena como la serie, o que pase las espectativas....

it sucks that they ended SGA so aburptly... they should have given it atleast three more seasons.. so many unanswered questions are left... the movie will be good i hope, but they could easily have done both the movie and the next season.

at least this ensures the SGU will have a good initial viewership, as all the fans like me that have been lusting after anything Stargate for a long time now will definitely catch the show....

i just hpoe that they do as good a job with SGU as they did with SG-1 and SGA.

its shocking that sg-1 had 10 seasons and atlantis only had 5 even though in my opinion it was better.

I started watching Stargate Atlantis this year (incidentally I watched Starget SG1 after SGA but I liked SGA better than SG1) I didn't expect myself to get hooked at all.. but I did. And then I find out that it's been canceled after 5 seasons. And even though it's been more than 6 months since last episode was aired I haven't given up on it. I want SGA to be back as a series. I even signed a petition for it :-)

I don't think we will get SGA back as a series but as I said I haven't given up just as yet..

I do want to know though what do the networks and studios need to bring it back as a show. I have heard few reasons why they canceled but I do not believe cancellation is a remedy for it when there are so many viewers who want it back.

I think SGA is about a fresh start; and I want it to have one of it's own again

Shame it ended, was pretty good, but hey the big sharks have to get theyre cash othewise we get no show :( sucks but its the way it is. And i do think that after they canceled SG1 and SGA the new one in project (SGU) will not stand and is in fact kinda stupid since it was supposed to be like a continuity of the previous ones, so if they canceled the previous shows becouse of cash the new one wont stand a chance and thats is for shure.
