okay, must say, just finished watching season 4 of sga... man! I will agree with a few people's notes below sga IS a sub for sg1, but a very good one. BRING BACK SG1, that's what I say, there's too much similarities in characters and stories on sga which proves the writers are out of fresh ideas.... e.g. sga's original doc.. loves fishin no one will go with him.. sg1's jack loves fishing too but no one wants to go with him, why do these things? it's bloody annoying, don't get me wrong... I love both sga and sg1 but same ideas in episodes of sga AND sg1 just filmed in different ways just gets way too boring... get fresh ideas please if a season 6 of sga happens.. and also, if season 11 never happens for sg1, please consider episodes with the original full sg1 characters in sga... well that's my say, but on a positive note awesome series and will be greatly missed when sga/sg1 finally ends on hopefully season 1.000.000, (I WISH)!. null

I am quite certain that we have a foothold situation at the SGC and it's a part of the aliens elaborate plot to make us all go through a considerable amount of torture so they choose to air the Season 5 of Atlantis till July/August!! THE PAIN .... so any word on SG1-S11? am i fantasising or will it happend one day? =) or even better move Daniel Jackson and Teal'c to the pegasus galaxy make Sheppards team bigger !! =)

This message is for LeX in Germany, I live in Italy watching both Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis. The great thing about it I can watch it twice a day and choice of any language - Italian, Tedisco (German), Spanish, as well as English. Check to see in your area if you have Sky Satellite. I also agree with you about Dr. CARSON BECKETT, played by Paul McGillion, I hope to see him more in the future roles in Stargate Atlantis.

I've found i possible release date for Season 4 DVD release, which can be found here : http://videoeta.com/movie.html?via=form&id=101826
So hopefully this is right although i can't back it up on other sites or for other countries. but in past experiences normally the release of the previous season on DVD normally kicks off the beginning of the next.
if you can't be bothered looking at the URL it has the release date as June 8th 2008 (guessing thats for the US so probably a month later for Australians)

Just watched season 4 final...and I loved it. Nice season but now waiting until summer hurts a lot! For me, who lives in Germany it is very difficult to watch the seasons in English, so I'll have to wait even longer to see my favourite actors again. Hope that Woolsey won't become commander, nothing about the actor but his role sucks ^^
I was very glad to see Becket again, he was my favourite in the past seasons, he really is a nice guy and i hope he apears often in season 5.
Until that i start counting the days like everyone else here!

i'm lost. i haven't even seen season 3 on tv in Australia yet (i got the dvd)! i also h8 the first weir, i was lyk WHAT!!! when i saw her.
did they seriously kill the asgard? what about sga's asgard? (i can never remember his name!)
i'm sure the producers will make some new enemies for sga. i wish they'd left Kolya for a while longer.
i find the lack of ZPMs amusing! its funny to watch mckay having promblems because he hasn't got enough power!

Weir Carter Woolsey
The first Weir was horrid, the regular Weir has really made her role stand out, I have grown to like her character as SGA leader. Carter just doesn't fit in as leader material. As a number 2 she is fine, but I see her as a scientist and support person, she is too weak for her new role. As for Woolsey, bugger, I hope it is a temp placement. To ignore the other humans is a policy I am angry about, even though I sometimes hate the way the teams butt into and go all PC with other races that have evolved ways of coping with regular mass culling leading almost to extinction time and time again.
