It looks like after the end of season 3 of
Stargate Atlantis, it will take a new turn in season four after which
something will happen with the Asurans (aka - Replicators). It is not
known what will happen in season four as yet just that it will be
different.
It has been hinted that the begining of season four will
involve a small "reset", however as we don't know yet there isn't a
need to judge it as a failure or otherwise until there is anymore
information.

The season finale 'First Strike' will spin Atlantis in a new direction.
"I don't want to give anything away, but what I think is the most
brilliant thing we've done on Atlantis during the past three years will
happen at the end of this episode." "Basically, it will
