I completely agree with u about the reality...and there was something intelligent but when i was about 10+ yr old i watched SG1 and tought it was pretty childish didnt see much intelligence i watched SG1 when i was 20 yr old and my toughts didnt change much. My rate now is SG1 5+/10, SGA 8+/10, SGU 6+-/10
SG-1 was totally unbearable for me, I watched maybe 5 episodes of SGA, it was a little better.
I think SGU brings the SG saga to a new audience. SG1 and SGA were so black and white, main characters were goodies or badies and all episodes had a somewhat predictable ending. EasyTV I would call it. Its not bad, but not everybody is into that.
I have seem some pretty grey matters from the main characters in sgu, really grey... almost in the darkside(lol). Awesome, finally.
sgu will never be as popular as the other sg sagas, but then again sg had to reinvent itself or die forever. The evil alien with make up stuff its just way to old.
long live sgu.
in other words, give it a chance. bobby alone could helm a series like this, let alone a cast of hardworking actors that are taking the series to a new level. i have a feeling this series will continue for numerous years, and i hope they cotinue on this path. keep in mind, a watched pot never boils. before you know it youll be begging for more episodes
how can you even think this is like bsg. did you even watch bsg, its an awesome show in its own. sgu is also an awesome show. just cause its not all guns a blazin, type casted action doesnt mean its crap. great cast + intriguing storyline= haters suck my balls
1. Reality is grey. Advnatage of Sience fiction is in unreal situations:) If i want to see reality, i will watch discovery programs.
2. I cannot agree SG-1 was for kids. It has a very inteligent humor.
3. SGU is very boring show without events and action. There is nothing to remember ... however i still remember so many good SG-1 moments ....after so many years.

i hope in the next eppisode i can watch the sgu team staring for 30 minutes at a light bulb to decide if it's burned - that would be the best SF action till now ... but i gess a broken bulb is to expensive
Can someone explain who are these SGU "actors"? They acting like zombies. You can hire them for Resident Evil 4. They will be best for that movie but kick them out of SGU.

SGA was so great. Switching to this sh*t was greatest imbecility Syfy ever invented. I really doubt syfy(lis) managers are sane.
US viewers can maybe survive this brainless crap but i am from Europe - Norway - so i say NO to this show.... sci-fi show must be clever, action funny and never boring. This is 0 budget, Z class, brainless weirdness.
To Syfy: return back SGA or leave the market!!!
Personally I cant wait for it a new direction, lets give it a chance
