Third Stargate series planned. It appears a third Stargate series is being developed for a probable 2008 premiere date.

No word on what the series may be about, but with Stargate SG-1 ending after this season, it is possible a character or two may spin off into the new series.

And speaking of Stargate SG-1, at least 2 spin-off movies, most likely Direct to DVD, are planned after the series wraps production.
